Any section or part of the parks or recreation areas hereinafter named may be declared closed to the public by the Mayor of the City of Linwood at any time and for any interval of time, either temporarily or at regular or stated intervals.

A. 
Whenever any person, group, association or organization desires to use said park facilities for a particular purpose, such as picnics, parties or theatrical or entertainment performances or any other activity, a representative of said person, group, association or organization shall first obtain a permit from the Linwood Board of Recreation.
B. 
The Linwood Board of Recreation shall grant the application if it appears that the person, group, association or organization meets all of the conditions contained in an application form to be hereinafter provided by the City Council. The application may contain a requirement for an indemnity bond to protect the City from any liability of any kind or character and to protect City property from damage.
No person shall picnic or lunch in any place in the park other than those areas designated for that purpose. Attendants shall have the authority to regulate the activities in such areas when necessary to prevent congestion and to secure the maximum use for the comfort and convenience of all.
No person shall use any portion of the picnic areas or any of the buildings or structures thereon for the purpose of holding picnics to the exclusion of other persons, nor shall any person use such areas and facilities for an unreasonable time. Any person using the picnic areas designated above shall not leave a picnic area before the fire is completely extinguished and before all trash in the nature of boxes, papers, cans, bottles, garbage and other refuse is placed in the disposal receptacles, where provided. If no such trash receptacles are available, then refuse and trash shall be carried away from the park area by the picnicker to be properly disposed of elsewhere.
No person shall willfully mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with or displace or remove any building, bridges, tables, benches, fireplaces, railings, paving or paving material, water lines or other public utilities or parts or appurtenances thereof, signs, notices or placards, whether temporary or permanent, monuments, stakes, posts or other boundary markers or other structures or equipment, facilities or park property or appurtenances whatsoever, either real or personal.

Any person using restrooms and/or washrooms contained in the park area shall cooperate in maintaining the restrooms and/or washrooms in a neat and sanitary condition.
A. 
No person while in the park area shall throw, discharge or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the waters of any water fountain or pond any substance, matter or things, liquid or solid, which will or may result in the pollution of said waters or which may impede the operation of said waters.
B. 
No person shall have brought in or dump, deposit or leave any bottles, broken glass, ashes, paper, boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish waste, garbage or refuse or other trash on the grounds of the parks or playgrounds. No such refuse or trash shall be placed in any waters in or contiguous to any park or left anywhere on the grounds thereof, but shall be placed in the proper receptacles, where these are provided; where receptacles are not provided, all such rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence and properly disposed of elsewhere.
No person while on the park areas shall dress or undress except in such bathing houses or structures as may be provided for that purpose.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to drive or park any automobile or other form of motor vehicle, motorcycle, golf cart, low-speed vehicle, e-scooter, scooter, e-bike, minibike or bicycle in the park area or to park or leave any such vehicle on any place other than one established for public parking, unless otherwise authorized by the City of Linwood. Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, and e-scooters may be permitted to be parked in the park area but only at designated areas for the parking of bicycles. Bicycles may be operated on any path designated for travel in the park area.
B. 
Golf carts and/or low-speed vehicles may be permitted in the parks only for use of an approved sports organization after obtaining authorization from the Linwood Board of Recreation.
It shall be unlawful to bring any animals into the park, including but not limited to dogs, cats or other pets.
It shall be unlawful for any person, other than those officially designated by the City of Linwood, to vend, sell, peddle or offer for sale any commodity or article within any park, nor shall said person place any station or stand, cart or vehicle for transportation, sale or display of any such article or thing within the park.

It shall be unlawful for any person to paste, glue, tack or otherwise post any sign, plaque or advertisement or inscription whatsoever, nor shall any person erect, or cause to be erected, any sign whatsoever on any public land or highway or roads adjacent to said park or playground or highway or roads adjacent to said park or playground area unless otherwise authorized by the City of Linwood. However, the temporary placement of signs for advertising purposes may be allowed on the left and the right outfield fences surrounding the Little League field, the fence located next to the soccer field, and the fence located next to the football field. The aforementioned signs shall be permitted only by approval from Linwood City Council in accordance with conditions and regulations as may be determined and promulgated by the Linwood City Council.
It shall be unlawful to engage in special activities, including but not limited to golf practice, archery and other games, at locations other than specifically designated for such activities.
It shall be unlawful to conduct any fireworks display in the park area unless a permit is first obtained from the Chief of Police in the City of Linwood.
It shall be unlawful to engage in or conduct any camping activities in the park area of any kind whatsoever unless a permit is first obtained from the Councilman in charge of parks or playgrounds.

The public parks and recreation areas shall be closed to the public from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Use of the athletic fields for sports organizations with approval from the Board of Recreation shall not be subject to the regular hours of operation during the approved use.
A. 
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court of Linwood, be punished for each offense by a fine not to exceed $500 or by imprisonment for any term not exceeding 90 days in the county jail or in any place provided by the municipality for the detention of prisoners, or both. The Municipal Court Judge before whom any person is convicted of violating this article shall have the power to impose any fine or term of imprisonment not exceeding the maximum fixed in this article.
B. 
In default of the payment of any fine imposed hereunder, any person convicted of any violation may, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge by whom he was convicted, be imprisoned in the county jail or place of detention provided by the municipality for any term not exceeding 90 days.
