§ 63-1 Business hours; restrictions for hours closed.

All barbershops located and doing business in the Borough of Kenilworth shall be opened to the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. every day including Saturday, except as hereinafter defined. Barbershops must be in full view from the street during closed hours with doors locked.

§ 63-2 Days closed.

A. 
Said barbershops within the borough limits shall be closed all day on Sundays, New Year's Day, Christmas, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.
B. 
Said barbershops within the borough limits shall be closed all day on Wednesdays, except those Wednesdays as shall fall within the same week as New Year's Day, Christmas, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.
C. 
If any holiday falls on a Sunday, the barbershop shall be closed on Monday immediately following said holiday.

§ 63-3 Clarification of hours. [1]

The hours above mentioned shall be considered to indicate prevailing time within the Borough of Kenilworth.

§ 63-4 Effect of closing hours.

The closing hours of barbershops in the Borough of Kenilworth shall not affect those persons already in barbershops awaiting their turn to be attended to.

§ 63-5 Violations and penalties. [1]

Any person whether owner, his duly appointed agent or servant, or any employee or proprietor who shall open or shall permit or suffer to be operated or opened to the public for the purpose of barbering to the public, tonsorial services or any other service associated and connected with barbering during the prohibited hours shall, for each violation of same and conviction thereof, pay a fine not to exceed five $500 or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
