Borough of Kenilworth, NJ Article I General Regulations

§ 142-1 Prohibited acts and conduct.

A. Expectorating or urinating in public. No person shall expectorate or urinate on any public street, public sidewalk or in any other public place or in any other place open to and used by the public or outdoors upon any private property.

B. Damage or destruction of public or private property. No person shall intentionally, knowingly or purposely damage or destroy public property or the property of another person.

C. Violation of the public peace. No person shall commit, aid or abet another in the commission of any act as defined in Article II, § 142-3 of this chapter.

D. Trespass. No person shall enter into or upon any public property or building within the Borough of Kenilworth except during normal working hours or when the property or building is open for a specific function or, in the case of a public park or recreation area, during the hours as designated and posted by the Department of Recreation, Police Department or Department of Public Works. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be considered a trespasser.

§ 142-2 Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the general penalty set forth in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty, of the Borough of Kenilworth Code.
