In addition to any other notice or permits required by the Fire Prevention Code, and any other provision of the state or local law or regulation, no person shall conduct blasting operations within the Town unless such person has provided prior notice, in writing, of issuance of all appropriate use permits as well as the schedule of use or blasting. In order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents and to prevent danger from fire and explosives, copy of such permit shall be provided by the permittee to the Fire Chief of the appropriate fire district upon issuance of such permit. Permittee shall also notify the police chief or his designee, in person or by telephone, two hours in advance of any blasting.
