In addition to those offenses stated in § 101-2A(10) of Chapter 101, Disorderly Conduct, and in Chapter 171, Malicious Mischief, of the Code of the Town of Lincoln, it shall be unlawful for any person, without the express consent of the owner to paint, disfigure, damage or deface public or private property including but not limited to buildings, walls, fences, signs, windows, poles, containers, bridges, vehicles, structures, pavements or any other hard surfaces, through the use of paints, pigments or other indelible materials. Such prohibited activities shall include, but not be limited to, the inscription of names, initials, letters, words, designs, slogans, symbols, logos, artistic expressions or other miscellaneous markings, some commonly known as “graffiti.”
Any person who shall violate the terms of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished in accordance with Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Town of Lincoln.
