Traffic control signals shall be installed, maintained and operated as follows:
A. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of Fraser Avenue and East Broadway, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: one section, two sides, three lights per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: fully automatic traffic control signal.

B. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of Richardson Avenue and East Broadway, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: one section, two sides, three lights per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: fully automatic traffic control signal.

C. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of Spring Street and Clinton Avenue, consisting of the following:

(1) 
Flashers: one section, four sides, one light per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: flashing red facing north and south on Spring Street and flashing amber facing east and west on Clinton Avenue.
D. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of High Street and Sturgis Road with Liberty Street, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: one section, four sides, three lights per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: fully automatic traffic control signal.

A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of Waverly Avenue and East Broadway, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Flashers: one section, three sides, one light per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: flashing red facing south on Waverly Avenue and flashing amber facing east and west on East Broadway.
G. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Sturgis Road, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Flashers: one section, three sides, one light per side.
(2) 
Normal operation: flashing red facing east on Sturgis Road and flashing amber facing north and south on Jefferson Street.
H. 
A full-traffic-actuated traffic control signal at the intersection of Raceway Road and Route 17B, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: fully automatic, four lights.
(a) 
One section, three sides, three lights per side.
(b) 
One section, one side, three lights per side.
(c) 
One section, one side, three lights per side.
(d) 
One section, one side, three lights per side.
(2) 
Sensor pads shall operate on Raceway Road and Route 17B in all directions.
(3) 
Normal operation. Three lights per side, full-traffic-actuated control signal working in conjunction with the other lights.
(a) 
One three-sided light in the center of the intersection.
(b) 
One section, one-sided light facing east in the right-hand westbound lane of Route 17B.
(c) 
One section, one-sided light facing west in the right-hand eastbound lane of Route 17B.
(d) 
One section, one-sided light facing south in the right-hand northbound lane.

I. 
A variable automatic traffic control signal at the intersection of Horseman's Gate and Route 17B, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: hand-actuated, police-controlled three lights.
(a) 
One section, three sides, three lights per side, with an additional left-hand-turn arrow on Route 17B facing west.
(b) 
One section, one side, three lights per side facing west in the right-hand eastbound lane of Route 17B.
(c) 
One section, two sides, three lights per side.

One side facing east in the right-hand westbound lane of Route 17B.
[2] 
One side facing north in the right-hand southbound lane of Horseman's Gate entrance.

(2) 
The unit can be controlled manually by a police officer in the Central Tower.
(3) 
Normal operation: all lights flashing red facing Horseman's Gate and flashing amber facing east and west on Route 17B. The unit can be hand-actuated from the Central Tower and is so used at the beginning and end of daily racing. During manual operation, the sequences are as follows:
(a) 
Green facing both directions on Route 17B and red facing Horseman's Gate.
(b) 
Red facing all streets, with a green arrow allowing eastbound traffic in the left lane of Route 17B to turn into Horseman's Gate.
(c) 
Red facing both directions on Route 17B and green facing Horseman's Gate.
J. 
A variable automatic traffic control signal at the intersection of Valet Parking and Route 17B, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: hand-actuated, police-controlled five lights.
(a) 
One section, two sides, three lights per side located at the center of the intersection facing east and west on Route 17B, with a left arrow in the left-hand eastbound lane of Route 17B.
(b) 
One section, two sides, three lights per side facing the right-hand westbound lane of Route 17B.
(c) 
One section, one side, three lights per side facing the right-hand southbound lane of the Valet Parking entrance.
(d) 
One section, one side, three lights per side facing the left-hand southbound lane of the Valet Parking entrance.
(e) 
One section, one side, three lights per side facing the right-hand eastbound lane of Route 17B.

(2) 
The unit can be controlled manually by a police officer in the Central Tower.
(3) 
Normal operation: all lights flashing red facing the Valet Parking entrance and flashing amber facing east and west on Route 17B. The unit can be hand-actuated from the Central Tower and is so used at the beginning and end of daily racing. During manual operation, the sequences are as follows:
(a) 
Green facing all directions on Route 17B and red facing the Valet Parking entrance.
(b) 
Red facing all streets, with a green arrow on the center light allowing left-hand eastbound traffic on Route 17B to turn left into the Valet Parking entrance.
(c) 
Red facing both directions on Route 17B and green facing the Valet Parking entrance.
K. 
A variable automatic traffic control signal at the intersection of Grandstand Parking and Route 17B, consisting of the following:
(1) 
Automatic: hand-actuated, police-controlled three lights.
(a) 
One section, three sides, three lights per side centered in the intersection, with additional left-hand arrow on Route 17B facing west.
(b) 
One section, two sides, three lights per side.

One section facing east in the right-hand westbound lane of Route 17B.
[2] 
One section facing north in the right-hand southbound lane of the Grandstand Parking exit.
(c) 
One section, one side, three lights per side facing west in the right-hand eastbound lane of Route 17B.
(2) 
The unit can be controlled manually by a police officer in the Central Tower.
(3) 
Normal operation: all lights flashing red facing the Grandstand exit and flashing amber facing east and west on Route 17B. The unit can be hand-actuated from the Central Tower and is so used at the beginning and end of daily racing. During manual operation, the sequences are as follows:
(a) 
Green facing all directions on Route 17B and red facing the Grandstand exit.
(b) 
Red facing all streets, with a green arrow allowing left-hand eastbound traffic on Route 17B to turn left into the Grandstand exit.
(c) 
Red facing both directions on Route 17B and green facing the Grandstand exit.

L. 
A pretimed traffic control signal at the intersection of North Street and Liberty Street, consisting of the following:
(1) 
A fixed-time three-phase signal which shall operate either on flashing or fixed time, at the discretion of the Monticello Police Department.
