GENERAL REFERENCES
Vehicles and traffic — See Ch. 162.
Pursuant to § 25.05 of the Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law of the State of New York, the operation of snowmobiles is permitted within the Village of Scottsville, New York, under the following conditions:
A. 
Snowmobiles will be driven only on the shoulders of the village streets.
B. 
Snowmobiles will not be allowed on any state highways (i.e., New York State Routes 383, 253 and 251) or on North Road in said village.
C. 
Snowmobiles will be permitted only for purposes of ingress and egress from the village.
D. 
All snowmobile owners must show proof of financial responsibility, and evidence of said financial responsibility will be a distinctive sticker affixed to the front of the vehicle. The sticker may be obtained at cost from the Village Clerk.
E. 
Under all other conditions, the provisions of Title D of the Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law will apply.
Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of a violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty.
