The Board of Public Works or other officers
having charge of ways of the Town shall have the authority, for the
purposes of removing or plowing snow or removing ice from any way
in the town, to remove or cause to be removed to some convenient place,
including in such term a public garage, any vehicle interfering with
such work.

The owner of any such vehicle so removed shall
be liable for the reasonable cost of such removal and storage, and
delivery of the vehicle to said owner may be withheld by the Board
of Public Works or other officer having charge of the ways in the
Town until such reasonable costs shall be paid.
