A.
Residency requirements. As authorized by New York State
Village Law § 3-301(2), any appointed Village officer need not be
a resident of the Village of Caledonia so long as the appointee is a resident
of the County of Livingston or any county adjacent thereto which is also adjacent
to the Town of Caledonia.
