This chapter shall be known and cited as the "Snowmobile Regulating Ordinance."
The purpose of this chapter is to ensure the safety of pedestrians in their use of sidewalks when in the Village of Caledonia.
No person shall operate a vehicle commonly called a "snowmobile" or any similar recreational vehicle on or along the length of the sidewalks within the corporate limits of the Village of Caledonia, except to cross the same, and any such crossing must be accomplished with extreme caution and regard for the use of such sidewalks by pedestrians.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine in an amount not exceeding $250 or by a term of imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both.
