As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
FALSE ALARM
Any signal, message, or other communication transmitted by an alarm system, person, or other device that causes a police or fire department response which is determined by the Town not to be of an emergency or is an unlawful situation.
No person shall give, send, or cause to be given or sent, in any manner, any alarm of fire which that person knows to be false.

False alarms shall be subject to fees as set forth on the Town Fees and Licenses Schedule.[1]

Any fees payable to the Town pursuant to this article which are delinquent may be assessed against the property involved as a special charge for current service without notice pursuant to § 66.0627, Wis. Stats.[1]
