Zoning — See Ch. 295.
A Zoning Hearing Board is hereby established in the Borough of Eddystone, consisting of three members appointed by the Council of the Borough and to serve for a term of three years or until the successors are appointed, except that the members of such Board first appointed shall be appointed for such terms that one member shall be designated to serve until the first day of January following the adoption of Chapter 295, Zoning, one until the first day of the second January thereafter and one until the first day of the third January thereafter. Vacancies in such Board occurring otherwise than by expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as original appointments.

The Zoning Hearing Board shall have such powers and duties as are provided in Article IX, Zoning Hearing Board, of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code,[1] as amended, supplemented and in effect.

The members of the Zoning Hearing Board shall receive compensation in the amount of $25 per hearing.
