A Commission on the Disabled for the Town be
and the same hereby is established for the Town which Commission shall
be the successor to the Committee for the Disabled in all respects.
Said Commission shall review the needs of the disabled of the Town
and recommend policy to the Board of Selectmen or other boards and
commissions duly empowered to implement the same. Said Commission
shall be authorized to file grant applications on behalf of the Town.
Said Commission shall consist of nine members
appointed to staggered two-year terms by the Board of Selectmen (with
five members initially being selected for two-year terms and four
members for one-year terms, with all subsequent appointments being
two years in duration).
