A. 
The golf professional/general manager of the Ridgefield Public Golf Course is herewith authorized to suspend the playing privileges of any individual if in his or her opinion said individual is guilty of disruptive, violent and/or reckless behavior such as to endanger himself or others or such as to interfere with the orderly operation of the course and/or the enjoyment of the same by the general public. Said suspension shall take effect immediately. Said suspension may be appealed to the Golf Committee of the Town of Ridgefield which may remove or determine the term of said suspension upon the vote of a majority of a quorum of said Committee. Said appeal shall be heard within 10 days of written notice of the same, which notice shall be given to the office of the First Selectman. The suspended individual shall have the right to be represented by counsel and the rules of evidence shall be liberally construed. A tape-recorded transcript shall be made of the appeal.
B. 
Suspension for a first offense shall be for a period of no more than 30 days. Suspension for a second offense shall be for a period of no more than 90 days. Suspension for a third or subsequent offense shall be for a period of no more than one year. Credit shall be afforded to the suspended player for that period of time prior to action by the Committee. In the event no appeal is taken, the suspension shall be removed after 30 days for a first offense, 90 days for a second offense, and one year for a third or subsequent offense.
