Except as otherwise provided in § 349-2 hereof, no person, firm or corporation shall keep, deposit or store one or more unregistered motor vehicles, or used parts of a motor vehicle or motor vehicles, upon any premises within the Town of Ridgefield unless such motor vehicle or motor vehicles are in an operative condition and in actual use on the premises of the owner.
The provisions of § 349-1 shall not apply to the keeping, depositing or storing of one or more unregistered motor vehicles within a building or to a business duly licensed therefor by the Motor Vehicle Department of the State of Connecticut and approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Ridgefield.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than $100
for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed
upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
