[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Fort Plain 6-24-1971 as Secs. 2-1 through 2-6 of Chapter 2 of the 1971 Code of Ordinances. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Village Board of Trustees shall determine and prescribe the rules for the conduct of its meetings and the order of business thereat. The Village Clerk shall keep minutes of the proceedings of said Board, which minutes shall be open to public inspection in the office of the Village Clerk.

The conduct of business and affairs of the village shall be through departments established for the purpose by resolution of the Village Board, each of which departments shall be under the supervision of a member of the Village Board of Trustees appointed for the purpose.[1]
