A. 
License required. No person or persons shall give or cause to be given any show, concert, carnival, circus or any other public entertainment without first obtaining a license from the Board of Trustees therefor.
B.

C. 
Exemptions. This section shall not apply to any fair, to any entertainment given by a church, fraternal or benevolent order or society, hose companies, club or band nor to any entertainment, the net proceeds of which are devoted to religious, charitable, patriotic, benevolent or educational purpose.
Any person convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of $250 or be imprisoned for a term of not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
