As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context:
ANIMAL
Any dog, cat or other domestic animal.
PARK OR PARKS
Unless specifically limited, shall be deemed to include all parks, playgrounds, recreation areas, tennis courts, recreation structures and facilities and also entrances and approaches thereto, and all other land or property or structures under the jurisdiction of the Recreation Board, now or hereafter owned or acquired by the Township for park or recreational purposes.
PERSON
Any natural person, corporation, organization of persons, company, association or partnership.
All parks shall be opened daily to the public from dusk to dawn. All persons found in the park at hours other than the hours specified herein shall be considered trespassers and be subject to the penalties provided in § 86-7 hereof.
No person, having possession, custody or control of any animal, shall knowingly or negligently permit any dog or other animal to commit any nuisance, i.e., defecation upon the grounds of any public park.
Any person having possession, custody or control of any dog or other animal which commits a nuisance, i.e. defecation upon the grounds of any public park, as prohibited in § 86-3, shall be required to immediately remove any feces from such surface and either:
A. 
Carry same away for disposal in a toilet; or
B. 
Place same in a nonleaking container for deposit in a trash or litter receptacle.
The provisions of §§ 86-3 and 86-4 hereof shall not apply to a guide dog accompanying any blind person, or to a dog used to assist any other physically handicapped person.
No person in attendance at a public park shall allow the pet to run at large out of control. All animals shall be restrained by a leash.
No person in attendance at the park shall litter any area of the park with garbage, paper, bottles, cans or other waste material; nor dispose of the same in any way except in receptacles designated for such purpose.
No person shall operate a snowmobile, minibike, motorcycle, three-wheeler, four-wheeler, or similar off-road vehicle in the park area.
No alcoholic beverages shall be used or permitted upon the property.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300 and, in default of payment, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days.
