In conformity with and pursuant to the authority
existing herein by the enactment of the Municipal Home Rule Law of
the State of New York, effective January 1, 1964, and notwithstanding
any rule, law or ordinance to the contrary, the term of office of
the Town Clerk, hereafter to be elected, be and it hereby is designated
as four years instead of its current term of two years, as now provided
for by the pertinent provisions of the Town Law of the State of New
York.
