The purpose of this article is to establish a schedule of miscellaneous fees for permits and a variety of duties, services and materials that are performed or provided by Borough officials to the public, and not otherwise established in the Borough Code.
The following fees are hereby established:
A. 
Copies (in person; by mail, add actual postal costs):

(1) 
Letter-sized copies shall be charged $0.05 per page; legal-sized copies shall be charged $0.07 per page.

(2) 
The fee for any oversized documents or documents which require outside copying or special handling shall be the actual cost of such copying plus any applicable postage and a reasonable handling fee not to exceed 10% of the actual copying charge.
B. 
Searches:
(1) 
Assessment search (per block and lot): $10.
(2) 
Tax search (per block and lot): $10.
(3) 
Continuation search (per year up to three years): $2.
C. 
Certification of documents:

(1) 
Certified copy of Vital Statistics record (birth, death, marriage, domestic partnership, civil union): $10 per copy.
D. 
Duplicates:
(1) 
Duplicate of tax bills (nonowner, per bill): $5.
E. 
Certified property owners list:
(1) 
Within 200 feet of a single block and lot: $10.
F. 
Miscellaneous:
(1) 
Glen Gardner Anniversary Booklet: $3.
(2) 
Zoning Map: $1.
(3) 
Zoning book (Chapter 104): $25 (by mail: $28).
(4) 
Zoning application for clearance: $15.
(5) 
Checks returned for insufficient funds: $20 per check.
(6) 
Redemption calculations of tax liens. A property owner or a person who has the right to redeem may request two redemption calculations per calendar year. Any additional calculations will be charged $50 per calculation.

(7) 
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:5-97.1, the Tax Collector shall charge a lienholder a fee of $50 for calculation of the amount due to redeem the tax lien required to be provided by that statute on a certificate that he or she owns; the fee may not be passed onto the certificate. The lienholder must specify the date to be used for the calculation.

(8) 
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 54:5-26, the Tax Collector shall charge a fee of $25 for the cost of mailing each notice of tax sale, by either regular or certified mail, to each interested party for a particular property. The cost of mailing shall be added to the cost of the tax sale in addition to those provided in N.J.S.A. 54:5-38.

Electronic payments for real estate taxes.

(a) 
The following fees shall be charged for payment by credit card for e-commerce transactions for real estate taxes:

Visa/Mastercard/Discover (credit or debit): 2.65%.
[2] 
There is a minimum convenience fee of $3 for all transactions.
(b) 
A fee of $1.50 per check shall be charged for payment by electronic check or eCheck.
When any fees herein described or at any time are at variance with fees for said services or materials as prescribed by the revised statutes of New Jersey, the fees prescribed by the statute shall govern.

A. 
All requests for discovery in matters pending in the municipal court of the Borough of Glen Gardner shall be submitted through the Municipal Prosecutor.
B. 
The following fees shall be payable by the requestor to the Borough of Glen Gardner for the discovery provided:
(1) 
For each of the first 10 pages photocopied: $0.75 per page.
(2) 
For each of the next 10 pages photocopied: $0.50 per page.
(3) 
For each of the pages photocopied thereafter: $0.25 per page.
(4) 
Actual postage for any discovery sent by mail.
(5) 
For the envelope for any discovery sent by mail: $0.25.
(6) 
Photographs will be photocopied at the rates established herein. If requests are made for duplicate photographs, the actual cost of making the photographs shall be charged.
(7) 
Duplication of videotapes constitutes an extraordinary duplication process and will be charged at the rate of $5 per videotape.
(8) 
On any item that cannot be photocopied on the Borough copy machine or not otherwise provided for in this schedule, the actual cost incurred in making the copy shall be charged.
C. 
Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the Borough of Glen Gardner, e.g., another police department, the actual costs paid to the other entity shall be paid by the requestor.

The purpose of this article is to establish policies and procedures for the collection of fees associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor or Acting Mayor of the Borough of Glen Gardner.
A. 
Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor of Glen Gardner shall remit the applicable fee delineated below to be paid to the Borough of Glen Gardner:
(1) 
Residents of Glen Gardner: $150.
(2) 
Nonresidents of Glen Gardner: $200.
(3) 
Active and retired military: $50.
B. 
An administrative fee of $25 shall be added to the above established fee.
A. 
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by check, payable to the Borough of Glen Gardner. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Borough's current fund.
B. 
Disbursement of fees; amendment of Salary Ordinance; responsibility for expenses.
(1) 
Fees for performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies shall be disbursed to the Mayor or Acting Mayor as an additional fixed salary payment for each service performed in accordance with the following schedule:
(a) 
For residents of Glen Gardner: $150.
(b) 
For nonresidents of Glen Gardner: $200.
(c) 
For active and retired military: $50.
(2) 
The Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Glen Gardner is hereby amended in accordance with the above.[1]

(3) 
The Mayor or Acting Mayor shall be responsible for his or her own expenses, including travel expenses and mileage, incurred in connection with the performance of any marriage or civil union, and such expenses shall not be reimbursable by the Borough.[2]
