The following businesses and enterprises conducted
within the Borough of Northvale shall be required to secure a license
and shall pay the fee as set forth. For failure to obtain a renewal
of an establishment license in the month of January in any calendar
year for existing establishments and for failure to obtain a retail
food license before any new establishment opens for business, a late
fee of $25 will be imposed for licenses valued at $100 and below and
$50 for all licenses valued at above $100, as follows:

Editor's Note: Former §§ 77-1
through 77-3, which regulated plumbing and which immediately preceded
this section, were deleted 6-21-1994 by Ord. No. 94-2.
Licenses shall be permanently displayed for
public view, except that when a business operation is primarily conducted
with the use of a vehicle, the license shall be kept on the vehicle
at all times with the registration number of said vehicle clearly
printed on the license.

Any person, firm or corporation conducting any
of the above-mentioned businesses or enterprises without securing
a license, as hereinabove required, shall, upon being found guilty
of the same by the District Justice of the Municipal Court of the
Borough of Northvale, be subject to a fine up to $500.
