[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Washington 11-6-1893 by Ord. No. 49. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The owner or occupant of each and every dwelling house or store which now fronts or may hereafter front on any street within the corporate limits of the Borough of Washington shall, within 30 days from the time of receiving notice of the designated number of the building he owns or occupies, cause such number to be placed in figures in some conspicuous place on the front of such store or dwelling so as to be plainly visible from the sidewalk on which such store or dwelling may front, 30 feet being allowed for each lot, house or store.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine of not more than $50.
