The Board of Trustees of the Village may from
time to time on its own motion or on petition, after public notice
and hearing, amend, supplement or change the regulations and boundary
line of the districts herein established or authorize the Board of
Appeals to act pursuant to Article 7 of the Village Law.

In connection with any application to it for
amendment of the Village Zoning Ordinance or the changing of the boundary
lines of any district within the Village, the Board of Trustees may
impose a fee upon the applicant at the time of making such application
or thereafter, commensurate with any expense reasonably incurred or
expected to be incurred by the Board in the consideration of such
application, including the cost of retaining planning and other consultants
as deemed necessary by the Board of Trustees.
