Upon the occurrence of any disaster or emergency other than a labor disturbance in any neighboring municipality or occasions when on-duty policemen may have to leave the Borough on business, if the Mayor or the Chief of Police of said municipality requests the Mayor of Baden Borough for the emergency assignment of police equipment, auxiliary police and members of the regular police force for the period of such emergency, the Mayor in his discretion shall transfer the police equipment, auxiliary police and members of the regular police force to the requesting municipality, in sufficient numbers and amount to aid in meeting the disaster or emergency.
During such period, the transferred police and equipment shall be under the jurisdiction of the Chief of Police of the municipality to which they are transferred.
Upon the occurrence of any disaster or emergency other than a labor dispute in the Borough of Baden, the Mayor or the Chief of Police of the Borough of Baden may request from any neighboring municipalities for the emergency assignment of police equipment, auxiliary police and members of the regular police forces of other municipalities for the period of such emergency.
During such period, the transferred police and equipment shall be under the jurisdiction of the Chief of Police of the Borough of Baden.
During such period, such transferred police shall have the same powers as regular police officers of the Borough of Baden.
