GENERAL REFERENCE

Vehicles and traffic — See Ch. 180.
From time to time hereafter, the Council of the Borough of Baden shall establish fire lanes in the Borough of Baden upon its streets, roadways and areas adjacent to buildings thereon to be free and open at all times for the use of fire trucks and equipment, and further, that no motor vehicles shall park in said roadways, streets or areas at any time, nor shall any person obstruct the said streets, roadways or areas in any manner whatsoever.
When and where fire lanes are hereafter established, they shall be clearly identified as fire lanes in the following manner: The Borough shall cause to be painted a continuous yellow line and maintain same along said streets, roadways or areas and to post the same with lawful signs indicating no motor vehicle parking at any time.
Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall pay a fine of $10 at the Borough Police Office. In the event that said ten-dollar fine is not paid within 72 hours, all violators, upon conviction before any District Justice, shall be required to pay a fine of $25, plus costs, and in default of payment thereof, shall suffer penalties as prescribed by law.
