The Parking Enforcement Officer shall be solely charged with the enforcement of provisions under Chapter 170, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Municipal Code as they relate specifically to the parking of vehicles on thoroughfares of the Municipality of Kingston.
The compensation of the Parking Enforcement Officer shall be a sum as
shall, from time to time, be determined by the Mayor in the exercise of his
office.
Nothing in this Article shall be construed to be a usurpation of power
from regular, duly sworn, full-time municipal police officers.
