It shall be unlawful for any person to park, stop or stand a motor vehicle in an appropriately and suitably marked handicapped parking space, unless such vehicle displays a special vehicle identification card, certificate or license plate issued by the Motor Vehicle Commission of the State of New Jersey, pursuant to the provisions of P.L. 1949, c. 280 (N.J.S.A. 39:4-204 et seq.). Said handicapped parking spaces are set forth and described in Schedule II, attached hereto and made a part of this chapter.

All parking spaces suitably marked by sign or pavement marking according to law as handicapped spaces within the Township of Morris are hereby designated as handicapped parking spaces, and parking violations occurring relative to such spaces are subject to the enforcement provisions and penalties pursuant to the statutes of the State of New Jersey.
