adopted by the Town Board 7-7-1964 by resolution.
The Planning Board of the Town of Binghamton shall consist of
five members and shall have all the powers and duties authorized by
the Laws of the State of New York and the Town of Binghamton.
The terms of office for Planning Board Members shall be five
years.
Insofar as the provisions of this chapter are inconsistent with
provisions of any other local law or act, the provision of this chapter
shall be controlling.
The Town of Binghamton Planning Board is hereby authorized, pursuant to the Town Law, including § 276 thereof, to approve plats showing lots, blocks or sites, with or without streets or highways, and to pass and to approve the development of plats already filed in the office of the Clerk of the county in which such plat is located if such plats are entirely or partially undeveloped; and said Board is also authorized, simultaneously with the approval of any plat, to modify applicable provisions of Chapter 240, Zoning, of the Code of the Town of Binghamton, in accordance with and subject to the conditions of § 278 of the Town Law.
