From and after this date it shall be unlawful
for a pedestrian to cross any street between street intersections.
Pedestrians shall cross streets only on a crosswalk on said street,
whether said crosswalk be marked or unmarked.
On streets where the traffic is regulated by
traffic control signals or by police officers, pedestrians shall cross
only on the marked or unmarked crosswalk and only when facing a green
light or a "walk" signal or when so directed by a traffic officer.
Pedestrians crossing a traffic-controlled street
on any marked or unmarked crosswalk or either a green light or a "walk"
signal or when so directed by a traffic officer shall have the right-of-way
over all vehicles, including those making a turn onto said street,
and it shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle or other operator to
yield such right-of-way.
