A. 
The following special weight limitations are hereby imposed:
(1) 
A special weight limitation is imposed on Smies Road from a point 1,000 feet east of the middle of the intersection of State Road 32 and Smies Road running easterly on Smies Road to the middle of its intersection with Sauk Trail Road such that no person may operate any vehicle or combination of vehicles in excess of 40 tons' gross weight on said road.[1]

Editor's Note: Former Subsection A(1), regarding the limitation on Holland-Lima Road, was repealed 5-16-2022 by Ord. No. 2022-02. This ordinance also redesignated former Subsection A(2) as Subsection A(1).
B. 
Signs shall be erected along Holland-Lima Road and Smies Road to give reasonable notice that special weight limitations are in effect and the nature of those limitations.
Any person who commits a violation of this article shall be subject to the same penalties as set forth in § 348-21(3), Wis. Stats., for a violation of § 348.17(1), Wis. Stats.
