Pursuant to § 316 of the Real Property
Tax Law of the State of New York, the power to assess real property
for the purposes of taxation shall be given to one Assessor, to be
appointed by the Town Board in accordance with the provisions of § 310
of said Real Property Tax Law.
The initial appointment shall be made on the
24th day of June 1985 and shall last until the first day of October
1989. A new appointment shall be made on the first day of October
1989, and in every sixth year thereafter on the first day of October
in said sixth year.
