By authority of the Act of Assembly approved June 5, 1937, P.L. 1718,[1] the speed limit on all of the roads, streets and highways in the Borough of Chester Heights shall be and the same is hereby fixed at 35 miles an hour, except where otherwise specifically restricted by said Act of Assembly.

It shall be unlawful to drive a vehicle at a higher speed than that prescribed for the street or part of street located within the Borough of Chester Heights as indicated below:

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon summary conviction before any District Justice of the County of Delaware, be sentenced to pay a fine of $10 and costs of prosecution and, in default of the payment thereof, shall undergo imprisonment for not more than five days.
