Parking of certain commercial vehicles, motorbuses, tractors, trailers and truck tractors, as herein defined, is prohibited on all streets within the Borough of Coopersburg, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., except when said vehicles are parked for the purpose and in the process of delivery or picking up of property. From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., there will be a two-hour time limit on the parking of commercial motor vehicles on all Borough streets.
A. 
Words or phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meaning ascribed to them as follows:
COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE
(1) 
Any motor vehicle designed for carrying freight or merchandise which has more than four wheels and tires, or a body, removable or otherwise, designed as a mobile home, for travel or camping. Trailers, irrespective of the number of wheels or the designed use, be it for the transportation of personal property, recreational equipment (boats, snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc.) shall be considered for this chapter as a "commercial motor vehicle."
(2) 
Any motor vehicles of a bus type, designed for the mass transportation of persons, including students of any and all educational institutions, or participants of Sunday schools, church schools and church services, shall be considered for this article as a "commercial motor vehicle."
(3) 
A suburban motor vehicle, namely a station wagon and a four wheel van, shall not be deemed to be a "commercial motor vehicle" for the purpose of this article
B. 
The terms "motor bus," "tractor," "trailer" and "truck tractor" shall have the same meanings and definitions as those terms as defined by the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Act of April 29, 1959, P.L. 58,[1] and the definitions as therein set forth and incorporated herein by reference thereto.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the terms of this article shall upon summary conviction be sentenced to pay a fine of $100 for the first violation and $200 for each subsequent violation, plus costs of towing, storage and prosecution.
