It is the intent of this article to provide
for the term of office of the Highway Superintendent of the Town of
Tuxedo who shall next be elected to office and to increase that term
from two years to four years, since it is felt that a longer term
would be advantageous to the taxpayers and citizens of the Town of
Tuxedo in providing experienced persons to hold said office.
The term of office of the Superintendent of
Highways of the Town of Tuxedo shall be four years rather than two
years.
The effective date of this article shall be
the first day of January in the year next following the election of
a candidate to the office of Highway Superintendent of the Town of
Tuxedo.
