The Town of Tuxedo shall have a five-member
Zoning Board of Appeals pursuant to the authority of Town Law § 267.
Appointment of members shall be in accordance
with Town Law § 267.
The Town Board shall appoint one alternate member
whose term shall be for one year. The alternate member shall fully
participate in all proceedings of the Zoning Board of Appeals, but
may vote only when another member is absent or abstains. Any limitation
of the power of such alternate member to vote which may be set forth
in Town Law § 267(11) is hereby superseded.
The Town Board may, by resolution, establish
requirements for training, continuing education and/or attendance.
The provisions of this Article VI shall supersede any inconsistent provision of Town Law § 267.
