The general regulations affecting the use of buildings, structures and land for each of the districts established by Article II are hereby established and set forth in this Article.
The accompanying table, entitled "Table of General Use Regulations," shall be deemed part of this Article and is referred to herein as "Use Table."
Editor's Note: The Table of General Use Regulations is located at the end of this chapter.
The Use Table is divided into columns, with each column headed by a letter for reference. Horizontal lines divide the regulations for one district from those of another.
In the Use Table, the words, "same as," followed by the symbol of a district, shall be construed to include all of the matter set forth in the same column for the district or districts thus referred to, thereby incorporating such matter by reference. Where reference is made to uses in other columns, such uses shall be those of the same district in which such reference occurs.
In the Use Table, those uses identified by an asterisk (*) require site plan review and approval by the Planning Board pursuant to § 98-20 in addition to any requirements imposed by reference to the supplementary regulations.
Any use not identified in the Use Table, but found by the Board of Appeals to be substantially the same or having the same characteristics as a use identified in the table, may be permitted, subject to any special conditions. In permitting such uses, the Board of Appeals shall provide to the Town Board a recommended revision to the Use Table for review under Article X, Amendments.
