As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
Except when the context otherwise indicates, includes a female
dog.
Includes a person or corporation harboring or keeping a dog.

A.
No person
shall own or harbor a dog within the Town of Williamson unless the
same is licensed as provided in Article 7 of the Agriculture and Markets
Law of the State of New York, but licenses shall not be required for
dogs under the age of four months which are not at large.
B.
The Town
Clerk is hereby authorized to ascertain and list the names of all
persons in the Town owning or harboring dogs, or in lieu thereof,
the Town may contract to have the same done.

It shall be an offense for any person to violate
the provisions of this article and, upon conviction thereof, such
person shall be punishable as provided in § 119 of the Agriculture
and Markets Law.[1]
