A. 
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter or by agreement with or resolution of the Town of Williamson or the Williamson Business Improvement District, the standing or parking of any vehicle for a period in excess of 24 hours in any parking lots owned by or under the control of the Town of Williamson or the Williamson Business Improvement District is hereby prohibited.
B. 
In the municipal parking lot on Main Street (Ridge Road) adjacent to the building at No. 4100 Ridge Road between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. except by permit approved by the Town Board of the Town of Williamson, which permit shall be for a period of not to exceed two years and issued upon the following criteria:
(1) 
Hardship as the result of a handicapped condition.
(2) 
Hardship as a result of living or working in a building located on the south side of Main Street and adjacent to the municipal parking lot and for which no on-site parking and/or private parking is available.
(3) 
Special celebrations and events such as the annual Apple Blossom Festival.
The repair or maintenance of any vehicle parked or located in any parking lots owned by or under the control of the Town of Williamson or the Williamson Business Improvement District is hereby prohibited.
Any vehicle standing or parked in violation of this article may be removed from a Town or district parking lot by or at the direction of the Town of Williamson or any police agency, and the registered owner of any vehicle so removed shall be responsible for payment of the cost of removal and storage of such vehicle.

Any person violating any portion of this article shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a traffic infraction and subject to the penalties set forth in § 1800 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.

Except as otherwise provided by agreement with or resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Williamson Free Public Library, the standing or parking of any vehicle in the parking lot of the aforesaid library located at 4170 East Main Street is hereby prohibited, except:
A. 
Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (except Saturdays during July, August and through the third Saturday in September of each year); and
B. 
Where the standing or parking of the vehicle is related or incidental to library use or business.
Any vehicle standing or parked in violation of this article may be moved from the library parking lot by or at the direction of the Town of Williamson or any policy agency, and the registered owner of any vehicle so removed shall be responsible for payment of the cost of removal and storage of such vehicle.
