It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to injure, destroy, remove or in any way disturb any shade trees, shrubs or bushes upon the streets and highways or elsewhere within the limits of the Borough of Ingram.
If any shade tree, bush or shrub shall become a nuisance or interfere with public or private improvements, or with the necessary and reasonable use of the streets or abutting property or the business thereon conducted, the Borough Council may authorize and direct the removal or pruning of such trees, shrubs or bushes.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before the Mayor or District Justice of the Borough of Ingram, be subject to and pay a fine for the use of the Borough of Ingram of not more than $600, together with costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of such fine and costs shall be subject to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 30 days.
