A. 
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ROADWAYS
Only all roadways and streets within subdivisions in the Borough of Milton which are owned by individuals, partnerships, corporations or other entities and which are used by individuals who are the owners of real estate situate along said roadways and streets and use said roadways for access to said properties.

The singular shall include the plural and the masculine shall include the feminine.

The owner of each and every roadway as previously defined is hereby required to remove or cause to be removed from all such roadways all snow and ice thereon, fallen or formed, within 24 hours after the same shall have ceased to fall or form.
The owner of every roadway as previously defined shall repair and maintain said roadways as follows:
A. 
Said roadway shall be adequately crowned so that surface water drains away from the center of said roadway.
B. 
There shall be drainage ditches or drainage pipes constructed and maintained along the edges of every one of said roadways, which are sufficient to carry surface water from the surfaces of said roadways.
C. 
The surface of said roadway shall be maintained in good repair by owner so that the same is at all times passable by all motor vehicles using said roadways.

Every person, partnership, corporation or firm who shall violate any provision of this article shall be guilty of a summary offense, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment of not more than 30 days. Every day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
