Editor’s Note: This ordinance also provided for the repeal of former Art. VI, Removal of Snow and Ice from Sidewalks, adopted 4-15-1987 by Ord. No. 952.
The owner of every property fronting upon or alongside of any of the streets in the Borough of Milton is hereby required to remove or cause to be removed from an area with a minimum width of three feet, the entire length of all the sidewalks in front of or alongside of such streets, all snow or ice thereon fallen or formed within 24 hours after the same shall have ceased to fall or to form.
Any owner who shall fail to remove any snow or ice from any sidewalk as required by § 209-29 hereof shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding before a Magistrate, pay the fines and costs as set forth in Section 3A, Level One violation, of Ordinance No. 1195, enacted March 11, 2015.[1] Such fines and costs shall be in addition to any expenses and additional amounts authorized by law.

Each day's continuance of any violation hereunder, after notice thereof by the Borough of Milton, shall constitute a separate offense.
If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, or provision of this article shall be judged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to the section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, or provision so adjudged, and the remainder of this article shall be deemed valid and effective.
