Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed former
Article IV, Flat-Rate Occupation Tax, adopted 12-30-1981 by Ord. No.
881.
After the effective date of this article, an
occupational assessment tax at the hereinafter-defined rate is hereby
levied on all occupations of all persons residing within the Borough
of Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, as each occupation
is assessed by Northumberland County and, specifically, the Tax Assessor's
office of Northumberland County.

For the year 1995, the occupational assessment
tax shall be at the rate of 100% of the assessed value of each occupation
as the assessed value is established by Northumberland County and,
specifically, the Tax Assessor's Office of Northumberland County.
