Editor's Note: Original Section 4 of the ordinance which is the source of this legislation provided that this legislation shall become effective 30 days after a certified copy of this legislation, and the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company's acceptance thereof, were filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
Permission and consent be and the same is hereby granted to Pennsylvania Power & Light Company to install, operate and maintain conduits, mains and pipes for the supply and distribution of gas along, through and under the public roads, streets, highways and other public ways of the Borough of Milton, including such other appliances and appurtenances as may be from time to time necessary for the proper and convenient transaction of the business of supplying and distributing gas for any purpose.
Said conduits, mains and pipes shall be constructed and maintained in a workmanlike manner and said Pennsylvania Power & Light Company shall promptly replace and properly restore any street or sidewalk that may be disturbed in the doing of such work. The location of all conduits, mains and pipes shall be under the supervision of the Street Committee of the borough.
The permission and consent hereby granted shall extend to said Pennsylvania Power & Light Company, its successors, assigns and lessees.
