It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep, maintain or own more than two dogs on any property or premises in the City of Monessen.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to the case of a female dog having a litter of pups, provided that the pups shall not remain within their mother for a longer period than three months.
Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating the terms of this article shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before any District Justice having jurisdiction of such offense, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300 or to undergo imprisonment not exceeding 90 days, or both.
