The minimum standard of care and professional prehospital care and transportation
to be provided for all emergencies within the City of Monessen which require
emergency medical services shall be "advanced life support," as that term
is defined by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and advanced life support
services initiated within the City of Monessen shall be rendered by providers
licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates the provisions
outlined in this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding
before any District Justice having jurisdiction of such offense, be sentenced
to pay a fine of not more than $300 or to undergo imprisonment not exceeding
90 days, or both.
