A.
No person or persons shall coast or ride upon any
sled or similar conveyance upon any of the sidewalks in the City of
Monessen or upon any of the streets or public alleys in the City unless
such street or alley shall have been especially set apart and designated
by the Mayor as a "play highway" for the purpose of sledding and shall
have been blocked off or adequately protected from vehicular traffic.
B.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding
before any District Justice having jurisdiction of such offense, be
sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 or to undergo imprisonment
not exceeding 90 days, or both.
