No person shall discharge, within the Borough
of Prospect Park, any air rifle or spring gun or any implement which
impels with force a pellet of any kind.
No person shall, within the Borough of Prospect
Park, use any bow or implements in the nature of a bow or any flipper
or slingshot for the discharge of an arrow or projectile of any kind.
This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit
any act of any person in justifiable defense under the law or the
police of the Borough in the discharge of their duties.
Any person who shall violate any provisions
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a
fine of not more than $300 and costs of such proceedings or, upon
default of payment of such fine and costs, by imprisonment in the
county jail for a term of not more than 30 days. The continuation
of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate
offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation
of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate
offense.
