The Borough of Lehighton requests that it be authorized to participate in purchase contracts of the Department of General Services and agrees that it will be bound by such terms and conditions as the Department may and, as hereafter specifically provided, shall prescribe and that it will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor under each purchase contract.[1]

Further, the borough requests that it may make such purchases of materials, supplies and equipment of any other administrative department authorized to make direct purchase of material, supplies and equipment. The borough may participate in or purchase contracts entered into by such department according to the terms and conditions such other administrative department shall prescribe.
