Firearms in parks — See Ch. 159, § 159-1K.
No person shall, except in necessary defense of person or property,
fire or discharge any gun or other firearm or any air rifle within
the Borough of Lehighton. This restriction shall not apply to police
officers using their weapons in the line of duty.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter
shall, upon conviction thereof before any District Justice, be subject
to a fine of not more than $600. and costs of prosecution and, in
default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment in the
county jail for not more than 30 days.
