Former Ch. 70, Building Construction, which
was comprised of Article I, Basic Building Code, adopted 4-20-1970 as Ord. No.
968; Article II, 1970 Supplement, adopted 10-19-1970 as Ord. No.
977; Article III, 1971 Supplement, adopted 1-3-1972 as Ord. No.
1017; Article IV, 1972 Supplement, adopted 1-15-1973 as Ord. No.
1038; and Article V, 1973 Supplement; Basic Mechanical
Code, adopted 3-4-1974 as Ord. No. 1058, was superseded by the
enactment of the State Uniform Construction Code Act (Chapter 217
of the Laws of 1975) and the promulgation of the new state building
code pursuant to that Act. For regulations providing for the enforcement
of said Act, see Ch. 166, Uniform Construction Code Enforcement. The
adoption of the BOCA Basic Mechanical Code is now set forth in Ch.
110, Mechanical Code.
